The De Marco family sold this shop in 1947 and quite coincidentally in the 1970's the shop was bought by Anita Roddick who founded the first Body Shop on the premises. In the right of the picture, two boxes of Cadburys 99 flakes can be seen. There has been some speculation about who first had the idea of selling an ice cream cone with a 99 flake.
